Tell us about your family
I am married with a teenager of my own and 3 step children. We have 3 boys and 1 little girl and I watch another little baby girl that is our extended family. It’s defiantly an adventure at our house. I am not sure I even know silence is like anymore but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have never been happier.
How did you get into Crossfit?
I had been running for a long time and had actually been working with a personal trainer for quite some time. I was getting fit but someone was missing. I would see these crazy people running through the business park where I worked and thought lots of times about trying it out. Like many people I was apprehensive and intimidated but within the first week I fell in love with the methodology and the community aspect of CrossFit.
What inspired you to open your own Crossfit gym?
I LOVE watching people realize that they can achieve far more then they ever thought possible. After coaching athletes of all abilities to run long endurance events I wanted to carry that same passion into the other sport I fell in love with ... CrossFit. I wanted everyone to realize they could do CrossFit. That is so much more than just a sport for elite athletes. We can all make ourselves just a little bit better every day we walk in the doors.
When you are not doing crossfit, Where can we find you?
You would probably find me either running the streets of Bel Air, buried under lots of children or just chilling at home. I am definitely a home body.
Give us a Fun Fact About Jen
Something fun or something funny ... lots of people would probably never guess I was actually pulled from the water in my first and only triathlon attempt. So much for winging it
